The attached is a catalog of all reference policies developed by the OSSBA Policy Department and currently in the computer files. These reference policies are used as resource material in developing localized policies for a particular school district.
The policy codes in bold print are those policies which have been mandated by the Oklahoma legislature. You should have all these policies in your policy manual.
Those policies identified with this symbol * following the policy code cover topics which have not been mandated by the legislature, but which are discussed in the School Law manual and in Oklahoma Statutes. It is recommended that policies for these topics be included in your school manual.
The remaining policies are those which have been developed at the request of a school board and which have been placed in our reference library. These policies will serve as guides in developing similar policies for your school district if such a policy is desired.
The catalog consists of a unique code for each policy followed by a brief description of the policy. If you have questions about a particular policy, please contact our policy department for additional information at (405) 528-3571. For pricing information on Policy Services, visit our main Policy Services page.
