Online Learning from OSSBA

Agendas and minutes tell a story about the public business of the school board and school district, while executive sessions provide a narrow opportunity for public officials to discuss matters in private.

This two-hour session designed for minutes clerks will review the basics of preparing agendas and minutes and will provide an in-depth look at the appropriate and legal use of executive sessions. This session would also be beneficial for new superintendents.

Presented by: Julie Miller, OSSBA Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel; Rooney Virgin, OSSBA Director of Government Affairs
