Minutes Clerk Leadership Academy

Specially for minutes clerks and deputy minutes clerks – join us for a discussion of the Oklahoma Open Meeting act including agenda preparation, posting requirements, executive sessions and the timeline for virtual meetings.

Presented by OSSBA Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel Julie Miller.

Registration is $100 for OSSBA members, $200 for non-members. Registrations are due by May 14. In-person registrations after the deadline are $125 ($250 for non-members). Notice of in-person registration cancellation must be received in writing by the registration due date for a refund (less a $25 cancellation fee). No refunds will be offered after the due date. Virtual registrations are not subject to a price increase or cancellation fee. Due to limited seating, on-site registration is not available. OSSBA is concerned about the safety and well-being of attendees. Any necessary COVID-19-related precautions and protocols will be evaluated and shared closer to the event date.

Special Opportunity for Assemble Paperless Meeting Subscribers

Beginning at noon, immediately following the May 18 Minutes Clerk Leadership Academy, OSSBA will host a free Assemble user group chat with OSSBA Digital Governance Specialist Anne Beck. This will be an opportunity for a training refresh, to learn about newer features in Assemble and to chat with other clerks who use the system.

Virtual and in-person attendance is available. Separate registration is required, Minutes Clerk Leadership Academy registration is not required.
