School districts as employers are constantly faced with employee leave issues. Federal and state laws including federal Family and Medical Leave Act require employers to provide employees leave for reasons including family and medical needs, jury duty, voting and military duty.
Time Off will focus on the responsibility of district administration to provide leave to employees, different types of leave, whether leave is paid and whether accrued leave is paid. Board members will receive valuable information about recommended district leave policies.
The cost is $50 per attendee and two EMP credits are available for school board members.
