Responding to Student Threats

Attend online or in-person!

With continued reports of threats in schools, administrators and staff need to be knowledgeable of the legal requirements for dealing with online threats, searching students, and mandatory reporting. Join us as we discuss how Oklahoma law interacts with student violence and threats of violence, and forming trust with your community. Please note this workshop will primarily review administrative responsibilities.

Presented by Tony Childers, OSSBA Staff Attorney and Amber Graham Fitzgerald, OSSBA Director of Member and Community Engagement

Workshop materials will be available for registered attendees the morning of the workshop through the OSSBA member portal.

This session will be recorded and made available through the OSSBA On-Demand Learning Library.
