This session was moved due to impacts from the recent ice storm. If you were registered for the Oct. 28 or Nov. 4 sessions, your registration has been automatically transferred to the new date.

Many areas of board policy have a direct effect on students. We’ll look at a myriad of those policies, including those of particular importance during COVID-19 like attendance, dress code, suspensions, extracurricular activities and more.

Student Issues: The Board’s Role is eligible for 1 ethics credit.

Workshop materials will be available for registered attendees the morning of the workshop through the OSSBA member portal.

Unable to join us live? The workshop will be recorded and available for later registration and viewing through OSSBA’s on-demand learning library.

Student Issues: The Board’s Role is $60 for OSSBA members, and $120 for nonmembers. Each registration is valid for one computer. Multiple people may share a computer to watch, but each school board member who needs board credit must have an individual registration. Workshop login information will be sent via email after registration confirmation.
