The School Board’s Role in Employment

Attend online!

Employment season has arrived in schools, and it’s important school board members understand their roles and responsibilities when it comes to staffing matters. Join OSSBA Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel Julie Miller and Staff Attorneys Tony Childers and Kim Bishop for a conversation focused on the board’s role related to employment decisions and the active role the board can take in ensuring staffing plans align with district priorities and goals.

Presented by Julie Miller, OSSBA Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel, Kim Bishop and Tony Childers, OSSBA Staff Attorneys

Workshop materials will be available for registered attendees the morning of the workshop through the OSSBA member portal.

This session will be recorded and made available through the OSSBA On-Demand Learning Library.

Have a question for Julie, Kim and Tony to address during the workshop? Submit it in advance here.
