OSSBA attorney Brandon Carey will provide Title IX training on school district obligations to respond to allegations of sexual harassment. This training will consist of an in-depth discussion of the Title IX process, from the allegation through the appeal process, and include training on the requirement to avoid prejudgment of the facts, conflicts of interest, and bias. Finally, Mr. Carey will lead attendees through a model Title IX scenario and investigation. This training is designed to meet K-12 training requirements for any employee involved in the Title IX investigation process.

This session will be recorded and made available through the OSSBA On-Demand Learning Library.

Registration is $100 for OSSBA members, $200 for non-members. Registrations are due by May 13. In-person registrations after the deadline are $125 ($250 for non-members). Notice of in-person registration cancellation must be received in writing by the registration due date for a refund (less a $25 cancellation fee). No refunds will be offered after the due date. Virtual registrations are not subject to a price increase or cancellation fee.
