The current projects – replacement of Eisenhower Middle School, addition of functional safe rooms in seven elementary schools, upgrades in areas of technology and classroom equipment, as well as, new textbooks for all core subject areas – are all possible because of the commitment from the Lawton community.

LPS employs approximately 2,300 administrators, teachers and support personnel who serve a diverse student population that is 38% Caucasian, 22% African American, 20% Hispanic, 5% Native American, Pacific Islander 1% and 14% two or more races.
