  • 136 total employees, 84 certified

Lexington has a wonderful relationship with our parents. Many of our parents are alumni and enjoy being involved with the school. You’ll find that our staff and parents communicate on a friendly basis as well as a professional level.

Our turnover rate in staff is very low. We have many staff members with over ten year’s commitment to the district. Working in a small school system allows us to get to know everyone. Staff comes together in times of joy and hardship. We become friends and it is easy to spend time here.

Lexington considers it a privilege to be able to offer our students many athletic choices. We offer the more common sports but have also had one student place third in the state wrestling competition.

Lexington is incredibly proud of its fine arts programs. The vocal and band programs continually bring home top honors from competitions.

Lexington is most proud of its educational successes. We strive to ensure each student has a plan post graduation. The majority of our students will pursue higher education or have the trade skills needed to be successful in the job market.

Applications will be accepted for this position until May 18. Candidates selected to interview will be notified by email or phone. Interviews will be held in May and June, with the hopes of naming a superintendent in June 2018.  This timeline is subject to change at the discretion of the Board.
