OSSBA Delegate Assembly School Board Delegates

OSSBA Delegate Assembly Voting Delegate

OSSBA's Delegate Assembly is an opportunity for every school board member and school district to participate in the association's legislative goal-setting process. The participation of all board members is important so OSSBA can adequately represent school boards interests at the Capitol. YOU are a critical part of developing and adopting legislative goals! During Delegate Assembly on Aug. 24, OSSBA's Board of Directors -- a group of 32 men and women who serve on their local school boards -- will present to OSSBA members a slate from among the goals submitted by members, OSSBA position statements and long-term goals to be voted on by delegates.  At Delegate Assembly, members can: ask questions; approve the target goals in whole or part; suggest new goals from the floor; and debate for and against goals.  All school board members are welcome to attend, but there is only one voting delegate per board. While not required, we highly recommend that your school board appoint a board member to be the voting delegate at delegate assembly. Below, please submit information about your district's appointed voting delegate.
