Join OSSBA attorney Brandon Carey for a discussion about the problem of hazing in middle school and high school athletics.
We will review the laws and school policies most often implicated in hazing situations, how to respond when provided notice of alleged hazing, and proactive measures to ensure a safe team environment.

This presentation is intended for administrators and coaches, but all school district officials are welcome and will benefit from the information. This session is eligible for two ethics credits for school board members.

Registration is $100 for OSSBA members and $200 for non-OSSBA members. In-person registrations are due by Feb. 9, 2024. In-person registrations after the deadline are $125 ($250 for non-members). Notice of in-person registration cancellation must be received in writing by the registration due date for a refund (less a $25 cancellation fee). No refunds will be offered after the due date. Virtual registrations are not subject to a price increase or cancellation fee.
