Join OSSBA staff attorney Brandon Carey for an in-depth look at what administrators need to know regarding extensive new Title IX rules.

Topics will include:

  • What is sexual harassment?
  • What programs and activities are governed by Title IX?
  • Proper investigatory procedures and processes, including appeals and informal resolution processes.
  • Investigating allegations of impartiality and conflicts of interests.
  • When is a person’s sexual predisposition or prior sexual behavior relevant?

Attendees also will have access to new model forms aligned to the new rules.

Title IX: Understanding New Federal Rules & Regulations is $100 for OSSBA members, and $200 for nonmembers. Each registration is valid for one computer. Multiple people may share a computer to watch, but each school board member who needs board credit must have an individual registration.
