Education is a focal point at the Capitol, and it’s crucial for you – Oklahoma’s education leaders – to join us on Wednesday, March 27th, to make sure that your voice and the voice of education is heard in the halls of the Oklahoma Capitol.

OSSBA’s Day at the Capitol offers an excellent chance to engage with top policymakers on legislative matters concerning public education and to connect with your local legislators.

RSVP online below. You must select the Day at the Capitol session and also indicate if you will be joining us for lunch. There is no charge for the day and lunch is included.

AGENDA

• 8:30 a.m. Registration
• 9 a.m. Kick off at the OSSBA Conference Center. Shuttles will be provided between OSSBA and the Capitol.
• 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Visit with legislators. We encourage you to make an appointment in advance. Find your legislators at www.ossba.org/legislators
• 12:15 p.m. Lunch at OSSBA. Legislative leaders will speak about education issues this session. The lunch session will be eligible for one ethics credit for school board members.
• 1:30 p.m. Return to the Capitol on your own and visit with your legislators.
