COVID19 created an unprecedented way to end the school year this past spring with every Oklahoma school moving to distance learning for the fourth quarter and then ending the year without ever returning face-to-face.

Join Dr. Joe Siano, OSSBA Associate Executive Director, and Dr. Ann Caine, OSSBA Director of Education Leadership, as they engage Broken Arrow Superintendent Dr. Janet Dunlop, Ft. Gibson Superintendent Scott Farmer and Merritt Superintendent Jeff Daugherty in a conversation about distance learning and the lessons learned.

Have a question for Ann, Joe and the panel to address during the workshop? Submit it in advance here.

Workshop materials will be available for registered attendees the morning of the workshop through the OSSBA member portal.

Unable to join us live? The workshop will be recorded and available for later registration and viewing.

Distance Learning: Lessons Learned & Preparing for the Future is eligible for 1 ETH credit.

Online registration is available through the OSSBA member portal. For information or questions about the member portal, please contact Lisa Deaton or Terri Silver by email with your name, district, and email address or call 888.528.3571.

Distance Learning: Lessons Learned & Preparing for the Future is $60 for OSSBA members, and $120 per credit hour for nonmembers. Each registration is valid for one computer. Multiple people may share a computer to watch, but each school board member who needs board credit must have an individual registration. Workshop login information will be sent via email after registration confirmation.
