In this training, we will discuss alcohol misuse and controlled substance use along with signs and symptoms of each and what school district administrators and supervisors can do in these situations when dealing with employees and students. We will also discuss Oklahoma drug testing laws and how medical marijuana can affect these laws. In addition, we will discuss employee drug and alcohol programs and the dismissal of employees for violations. We will also cover the issues with searching and disciplining students when drugs or alcohol misuse is involved. This training can be used for supervisors of DOT employees to comply with Federal Motor Carrier 49 CFR 382.603.
