This session will discuss the new availability of school-based COVID-19 testing as well as election results. The event is free and worth one ethics credit for board members.

Have a question about district- or school-based COVID-19 testing? Let us know so we can address it during the town hall.

About the town hall series:

The Let’s Talk OSSBA Town Hall Series will allow us to provide up-to-date information to all board members and administrators on a regular basis throughout the fall.

  • Each session will be free, will begin about 6 p.m. and will last up to 90 minutes.
  • The Nov. 19 town hall will feature an Oklahoma State Department of Health official sharing information and answering questions about a new opportunity for districts to offer on-site COVID-19 testing. We’ll also discuss recent election result. The Nov. 19 town hall will be worth one ethics credit for board members.
  • The topics will vary from session to session, based on current events. Attend as many as you want!
  • Registration will be required and is available in the OSSBA member portal.
  • One hour of credit will be offered for each town hall you choose to attend. The credit type may vary for each session.
  • Additional dates include  Dec. 3. Topics and available credit will be announced at least a week before the town hall.

Online registration is available through the OSSBA member portal. For information or questions about the member portal, please contact Lisa Deaton or Terri Silver by email with your name, district, and email address or call 888.528.3571.
