Navigating Parental Rights: Understanding Residency and Custody Issues

March 3, 2020 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

For students in separated or divorced families, decisions as simple as student pick-up and drop off can become a battleground for the student’s parents. Sometimes, these disputes lead to school employees getting involved through court orders, witness subpoenas, and various requests from parents, DHS, or law enforcement.

Join Staff Attorney Tony Childers for our March 3 workshop and learn how to navigate through the complicated maze of custody disputes and student access.
