Student health and safety is always an issue on the minds of school district employees. The conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic have added new barriers to district efforts to protect students. At the same time, the new federal Title IX regulations have added new reporting obligations for school employees.  In this workshop, we will discuss district reporting obligations related to student health and safety, including law enforcement, DHS, Title IX, and health department reporting requirements.

Student Safety (Title IX, Child Abuse Reporting) is eligible for 1 ethics credit.

Have a question for the panel to address during the workshop? Submit it in advance here.
