Join OSSBA Attorneys Tony Childers and Julie Miller for an overview of Oklahoma Law as it pertains to student medications and medication administration in the school setting. The presentation will review the law as it pertains to the administration of medication by school employees, self-administration of medication by students, diabetes management plans, medical marijuana use by students, student confidentiality, the provision of medical services, and other related issues. School nurses are welcome to attend this workshop.

Managing Student Health Issues at School is eligible for 2 ethics credits for school board members.

Registration is $100 for OSSBA members, $200 for non-members. Registrations are due by Oct. 14. In-person registrations after the deadline are $125 ($250 for non-members). Notice of in-person registration cancellation must be received in writing by the registration due date for a refund (less a $25 cancellation fee). No refunds will be offered after the due date. Virtual registrations are not subject to a price increase or cancellation fee.
